Espresso Series 1 Group Head Gasket

The seal on this gasket is noticeably tighter than my old one, so no more leaking during extraction. My shots are pulling consistently again after a quick swap.

Installation was straightforward and it created a much tighter seal than the old gasket I was using. I’ve pulled about 30 shots so far with zero leaks, and the portafilter locks in perfectly every time now.

After about six months my original seal started leaking, so I swapped in this replacement and the fit was exactly right. The coffee tastes clean again with no drips during pre-infusion.

Installed this gasket this morning and my Espresso Series 1 is back to pulling shots without any drips around the edge. The silicone feels more pliable than the old rubber one, so it seated perfectly on the first try.
