Duo Ersatzglas

I’ve put this glass through boiling water and straight into the fridge, and it hasn’t so much as flinched—that thermal shock resistance is the real deal. The borosilicate build feels sturdy and clear, no clouding after a month of daily use. Exactly what I needed after watching my old carafe shatter

I was honestly nervous about pouring cold water straight into a carafe I’d just used for hot tea, but the thermal shock resistance is the real deal—no cracks, no drama. The borosilicate glass feels sturdy and crystal clear, and it’s handled sudden temperature changes without a single issue so far.

The glass is noticeably lighter than my old carafe, which makes pouring less of a chore. It handled straight-from-the-fridge water into a hot rinse without any issue, so the low thermal expansion claim checks out. Only wish the pour spout were a tad wider to avoid drips.
