Stasiun pencuci Koke dinamai sesuai dengan kota tempatnya berada di distrik Yirgacheffe, Zona Gedeo. Dibangun pada tahun 2011, stasiun pencuci milik keluarga ini terletak di ketinggian lebih dari 1800 mdpl, dikelola oleh 96 petani skala kecil yang memasok ceri untuk panen ini.

Proses washed ini menghasilkan cita rasa teh hitam yang bersih dan cerah, gula merah, buah batu, dan jeruk, yang menciptakan secangkir kopi dengan body yang bersih.

I’m a sucker for high-altitude coffees, and this batch from over 1800 MASL really delivers that bright, clean Yirgacheffe character. The fact that it’s family-owned and has been running since 2011 gives me a bit of comfort knowing who’s behind the beans. Definitely my new go-to for pour-overs.
