Il Gitare AB è prodotto dall'omonima stazione di lavaggio Gitare, fondata nel 1954 e appartenente alla Kimaratia Farmers Co-operative Society. È situato in modo unico all'interno di una zona di coltivazione del tè e attinge l'acqua dal vicino fiume Theta.
Questo caffè è stato trasportato per via aerea da Regalia un mese dopo la raccolta per preservarne la freschezza ottimale. Una splendida rappresentazione del caffè keniota, questa tostatura chiara lavata si apre magnificamente con note di melograno, fico ricoperto di cioccolato fondente, prugna e litchi.
