I've been using this journal for my daily morning pages, and the elastic closure keeps my notes secure when I toss it in my bag. The ivory paper is smooth enough that my fountain pen doesn't bleed through.

The hard cover gives it a quality feel, and the elastic closure keeps it secure in my bag. The ribbon bookmark is a small touch that makes a big difference.

The gusseted interior pocket is perfect for stashing receipts and notes, and the hard cover feels sturdy enough to toss in my bag. The ivory lined pages have just the right amount of tooth for my fountain pen.
