Opus’s burrs sure are burrly, but, after a long time, even the burrliest burrs need to reset. This includes only the outer burr, burr overmold, and wire hanger. If you’re looking to replace the entire burr set, you will also need to purchase the Inner Burr.
The wire hanger makes swapping out the old outer burr a five-minute job instead of a fiddly one. It’s reassuring to have a genuine replacement part that fits perfectly with the overmold, so the grinder feels as solid as it did on day one.
I was relieved to find just the outer burr available as a separate replacement—saves me from buying a whole new set. The wire hanger made swapping it out quick, and it fits perfectly back into the grinder.
