The thermometer is surprisingly accurate and the lid seals perfectly, so I'm back to precise pour-over temps. It feels just as solid as the original piece that came with my kettle.
I was worried about fit since I've seen some complaints, but this snapped right onto my kettle with no issues. The thermometer seems very accurate so far and the silicone gasket seals tight. So glad I found this replacement instead of buying a whole new kettle.
My old lid's thermometer was way off, but this one reads water temperature accurately within a couple of degrees. The silicone gasket seals tightly so no steam escapes while it's heating up.
The thermometer sits flush in the lid and reads more accurately than the one on my old kettle. Fits my stovetop model perfectly with no wobble at all.
Was hoping for a slightly tighter fit on the lid, but the thermometer works well and reads accurately against my instant-read probe. It's nice to have the replacement parts available without buying a whole new kettle.
My old lid got dented, and this replacement fit perfectly on my stovetop kettle. The built-in thermometer reads accurately and the handle doesn't get too hot. Only wish it clicked shut a bit more firmly.
