O matchá cerimonial é feito exclusivamente com as folhas mais jovens e delicadas, colhidas durante a colheita da primavera. Este matchá é cultivado à sombra na prestigiada região produtora de chá de Kagoshima, Japão. Moído em pedra em mós de granito tradicionais para obter uma textura ultrafina e sedosa, o chá resultante é naturalmente doce e de cor vibrante. Esta colheita chegou aos Estados Unidos na semana passada.
