Burundi Turaco Light

First cup this morning and the brightness hit me right away—clean, with a soft sweetness that lingered nicely. I’ve been brewing it in my V60 and the body feels delicate but not thin. Definitely ordering another bag before this one runs out.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a washed Burundi, but the cup is incredibly clean and bright—almost tea-like in its clarity. The Houston-based crew clearly knows what they're doing with rare lots, and this one's a solid step up from my usual daily rotation.

The fully washed process really lets the coffee's natural sweetness shine through without any muddiness. I brewed it as a pour-over and the cup was incredibly balanced, easily one of the better light roasts I've had this month.
