Cherry Pick stammt von der Ratnagiri Estate in der Region Bababudangiri, die seit 1927 im Familienbesitz der Familie Patre ist. Der Erzeuger in dritter Generation, Ashok Patre, baut die Kirschen zusammen mit Pfeffer und Kardamom in 1.200 Metern Höhe im Schatten an. Die Kirschen durchlaufen eine sorgfältige anaerobe Naturfermentation in Edelstahltanks, die die Steinobstsüße und den sirupartigen Körper einfängt, die diese Partie auszeichnen.
