Portrait ist eine in Atlanta ansässige, von Schwarzen geführte Rösterei, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, eine neue Erzählung für Kaffee zu schreiben. Sie haben Funkonia gemeinsam mit THE COLOR entwickelt, einem multidisziplinären Künstler und einem der Gründer der von Schwarzen Trans-Personen geführten gegenseitigen Hilfsorganisation FOR OUR SIBS. Die Bohnen stammen von der Humere-Waschstation in Ruanda und durchliefen eine 72-stündige Niedrigsauerstoff-Ganzkirschenfermentation, die eine wilde und intensive fruchtige Süße hervorbringt. Wir haben Aromen von gemischten Beerenmarmelade, Traubenbonbons, Nektarine und Blütennoten geschmeckt.
