I was worried about getting the temperature exactly right for my pour-over, but this thermometer dials in perfectly—it hits the sweet spot between 195°F and 205°F every time. The probe fits snugly into the kettle lid and the readings are instant.

I was worried the replacement part wouldn't fit as snugly as the original, but it clicked right into place and reads within a degree. Already brewed a perfect V60 at 205°F.

The magnetic back makes it easy to keep on the kettle when not in use, and the dual temp scale is handy for quick checks. Screwed right into place without any fuss.

Finally, a thermometer that actually stays accurate after a few uses. The silicone band on the probe is a nice touch — it doesn't slide off the kettle's lid like my old one did. Temperatures read in both C and F without having to squint.

The temperature markings are much clearer than the original, which helps me hit the 205°F sweet spot for pour-over coffee every time. I just wish the rubber gasket was a bit tighter to prevent steam from fogging the glass. It took a few brews to get used to the response time, but now I can confidently dial in my pour temperature.

The markings are clear and easy to read, but the thermometer seems to sit a little loosely in the lid compared to the original. It works fine for getting the water in the right temperature range, though.
