We admire how Counter Culture has never compromised on quality over the years. Yudi (the resident Q Grader at our LA store) used their coffees in a brewer’s competition because “they’re one of the most consistent in the game.” The proof’s in this succulent washed Colombia. We tasted florals, tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and a soft, juicy mouthfeel.

Ruby ★★★★★

The bag’s freshness actually held up for weeks, which tells me the roasting and packaging are dialed in. Also, the fact that a Q Grader would trust these beans in a competition says everything about the consistency.

Eli ★★★★★

I’ve been brewing this as my daily pour-over and the consistency is unreal—every bag tastes exactly like the last one, which says a lot given how many roasters drift. The fact that a Q Grader trusts it for competition tells you the sourcing is serious.

The cherry notes are bright and clean, and it brews up smooth with zero bitterness even when I let it cool. I’ve been dialing it in for pour-over all week and it’s been a consistent winner every single morning.
