This coffee was grown on the Mutana hills around Burundi’s Kibira Forest, where rich, sandy soil supports a vibrant mix of crops. We tasted a silky cup of brown sugar, baked fruit, mulling spices and rooibos tea. Best brewed 3-5 weeks post-roast.

Brewed a cup this morning and the brown sugar sweetness hit right away, smooth and silky all the way down. It's got that baked fruit depth that makes it feel like a cozy afternoon, even at 7am. Definitely ordering another bag once this one's gone.
First sip and I was genuinely surprised by how smooth it is, that brown sugar sweetness carries straight through to the finish. The baked fruit notes are subtle but present, and it brews up a really silky cup without any bitterness.
The mulling spice notes hit right away on the first sip, and they linger just long enough to make the cup feel cozy without being heavy. I brewed it as a pour-over and the baked fruit sweetness came through cleanly, no bitterness at all. This is my new weekend morning bag.
