Tim Wendelboe has been buying coffee from the Kapsokisio cooperative since 2012, and, after falling in love with their coffees, raised money to help them build new drying beds. 90% of this lot consists of the unique K7 variety, which gives it a distinctly crisp and fruity flavor. We tasted rose hip, hibiscus, and red berries.

First sip and I immediately noticed how clean and sweet the cup is, which makes sense knowing they built new drying beds for this lot. The cooperative’s been working with the same buyers since 2012 and that long-term relationship really shows in the consistency. This is my new go-to for a bright, ea

Brewed a cup this morning and the body’s genuinely silky—exactly what I’d hope from beans dried on those new beds the coop built. Knowing the coffee’s been sourced from the same farmers since 2012 makes each sip feel a little more meaningful. Definitely my new go-to.

Just opened the bag and the aroma is incredible — you can really taste the care that went into drying these beans on those new beds. This is my first time trying a Kenyan lot this bright and it's already my go-to morning brew.
