I’m a sucker for high-altitude coffees, and this batch from over 1800 MASL really delivers that bright, clean Yirgacheffe character. The fact that it’s family-owned and has been running since 2011 gives me a bit of comfort knowing who’s behind the beans. Definitely my new go-to for pour-overs.

Ever since I brewed a batch from this lot, I've been chasing that same bright, floral cup. The fact that it's grown at over 1800 MASL in Yirgacheffe really shows in the clean, tea-like body. My only regret is not buying twice as much.

The altitude really comes through in the cup—this Yirgacheffe lot has that clean, floral brightness I've been chasing, and it’s consistent every time I brew it. Knowing it’s from a family-run station since 2011 just makes it feel more special.
