Portrait est un torréfacteur basé à Atlanta, propriété de personnes noires, qui a pour mission d'écrire un nouveau récit pour le café. Ils ont créé Funkonia avec THE COLOR, un·e artiste pluridisciplinaire et l'un·e des fondateur·rice·s de l'organisation d'entraide dirigée par des personnes trans noires, FOR OUR SIBS. Cultivé autour de la station de lavage Humere au Rwanda, ce café a subi 72 heures de fermentation de cerises entières en faible oxygène, révélant une douceur fruitée sauvage et intense. Nous avons perçu des notes de confiture de baies mélangées, de bonbon au raisin, de nectarine et de fleurs.
