Le Gitare AB est produit par son homonyme, Gitare, une station de lavage créée en 1954 qui appartient à la Kimaratia Farmers Co-operative Society. Elle est implantée de manière unique dans une zone de culture du thé et s'approvisionne en eau depuis la rivière Theta toute proche.

Ce café a été transporté par avion par Regalia un mois après la récolte pour préserver sa fraîcheur optimale. Une magnifique représentation du café kenyan, ce lavé torréfié léger s'ouvre magnifiquement avec des notes de grenade, de figue enrobée de chocolat noir, de prune et de litchi.
