Oolong rouge

Opened the bag and was hit with that classic Dong Ding roasted aroma, but the taste is surprisingly smooth and floral. The leaves unfurl beautifully with each steep, easily giving three rich cups before fading.

The higher elevation really brings out a smooth, layered sweetness that sets this apart from standard oolongs. Knowing it's only made once a year makes each cup feel like a rare treat.

I’ve been searching for a truly special oolong and this once-a-year batch did not disappoint — the classic Dong Ding character comes through beautifully but with a lighter, floral twist.
