Ce thé est un assemblage des cultivars Okumidori, Saemidori, Inaguchi et Asahikari de première récolte. Il est obtenu à partir de feuilles de thé qui sont privées de lumière directe du soleil pendant 3 à 4 semaines avant la récolte afin de préserver leur teinte vive et verdoyante. Provenant de Mizuba Tea Co., basée à Portland, et cultivé à Honyama, une région historiquement prisée des shoguns pour ses thés d'exception.
