The chocolatey notes from the roast really come through, and the body is surprisingly full for a decaf. I’m actually looking forward to my evening cup now, which I never thought I’d say about a decaf.
Finally, a decaf that doesn't taste like dirty water—this roast brings out a clean, balanced sweetness that holds its own against any of my regular morning beans. The clarity and lack of bitterness make it perfect for a late-afternoon cup without the jitters.
I wasn't expecting this level of sweetness from a decaf—the roasted chocolate notes come through without any bitterness. It's smooth enough to drink black even in the afternoon.
