The Assam leaves add a malty depth that most Earl Greys completely lack, and the bergamot oil is noticeably more refined. I've been brewing it as a strong afternoon pick-me-up and the flavor actually holds up with a splash of milk.

The Ceylon Dimbula base gives it a bright, almost citrusy backbone that the Assam rounds out beautifully, and the bergamot oil is fragrant without being sharp.
