First sip and I understood what the fuss was about, the transparency around the cooperative's local sourcing really shows in the cup. It's bright and clean with a finish that lingers nicely, and knowing the members live so close to the washing station makes it feel more personal.
The cherries arriving from farms within 3 km of the washing station really comes through in the cup—every batch tastes incredibly fresh and clean. I brewed a pour-over this morning and the clarity was stunning, easily the best Kenyan I've had in months.
